As a not-for-profit Association, based in Lagos Portugal, the Nandi Charity needs your support to ensure continuity of service and to enable us to expand our services throughout the western Algarve.

Our Mission: To raise funds for the assistance and welfare of sick and abandoned animals in the Western Algarve.

An annual individual membership fee of just €20 gives you the following:

• An opportunity to belong to a growing association established in 1996 to support the community in the sterilisation and welfare of street animals and to assist local pet owners who may not have the funds available to afford veterinary sterilisation and animal welfare costs.

• The personal satisfaction of knowing you have helped us to help in controlling a number of animals that would otherwise be suffering on the streets.

• An opportunity to attend our yearly Assembleia Geral (General Meetings) and vote on important issues that affect our future services and policies.

• Receive our regular newsletter and invitations to attend our fund raising events.

• Be eligible to become a member of the Direcção (Management Board), Fiscal Board (Finance Board) or  Assembleia Geral (General Assembly).
