We have volunteers who can pick up furniture and other large items from your home for free.
To cover the cost of our collection service and raise funds to care for sick and abandoned animals, we need to be able to sell the items you donate in our shops so if the team say that they cannot take an item, please do not be offended.
Our van teams are very experienced, and they know what we can sell and what we cannot.
Using our online form at the bottom of the page, tell us:
We will then contact you within 5 working days to agree a date.
We may ask for a photo of the item before accepting it.
Please note that for Health and Safety reasons we may be unable to collect large or heavy pieces of furniture from floors higher than the 1st floor unless a suitable lift is available for use.
We CAN accept bags and boxes of other small items at the same time, but you do need to tell us in advance, so we ensure that there is room in our van.
You will have been informed either be text or by phone to confirm your agreed collection day.
Please make sure you are at the collection point. Our volunteer staff work hard and have a busy working day, so delays make their life very difficult.
Have the items already packed or in an easily accessible place. Alternately, leave the items clearly marked for donation outside in an area easily accessible to the driver.
We recognise that you will be allowing strangers into your home so our team will be in a Nandi signed van and wear Nandi shirts or have other Nandi identification with them.
